An energy company is interested in optioning some land that I own for the purpose of wind development. I'd like to have an attorney look over the agreement. Are all attorneys created equal with regard to assessing these contracts? What type of lawyer should I look for? Do you know of anyone who keeps lists of these types of things? I live in a different state relative to the land potentially being optioned...does it matter where the attorney practices?
