Can someone tell me how much acreage is needed to put up a commercial sized W.T.? If I wanted to have 50 W.T.'s on my property, how many acres do I need to have to do so? Is it 2 acres for every W.T.? 3 acres? Anyone know?

Unfortunately, the answer to your question is: it depends. I know that's not very satisfying, but turbine siting is very dependent on the exact situation, including things like:

• How much wind is at your site?
  
• What is the topography at your site like?
  
• What else (buildings, trees, etc.) is on the site?
  
• What type and size of turbine are you using?
  
• ...and many other factors.
