Hello i am very new to all of this. i have only a general idea of the basics of wind power. The idea came to me when i was freezing my butt off in the garage this winter, but i can't justify the cost of running a heater just for the garage. Could i heat the garage with wind power? I am not looking for normal household temps, more like around 40-50 degrees or so just to take the chill out of the air. after starting some research into wind turbines it seems like they are all set up to charge a bank of batteries. since i don't care if the heater is running all the time or if the garage stays a set temp all the time, is it possible to use the electricity straight from the turbine to power a heater while its windy and just sit idle when it is not? thanks for the help, Dan.
