In deference to Sir Francis Beaufort, the Wind Farmers Network has developed a rating system for its members that corresponds to that of the Beaufort Scale. As a brand new user to this Board, you are immediately given the name of Calm.

Should you hang around and continue contributing to the discussion, and your number of posts grow, soon, at undisclosed intervals, but in keeping with Beaufort wind speeds, you will see your status progress through the following tiers, right up to the most coveted title, Windbag.

Member levels, which are subject to change at any time, are:

Calm
Light
Gentle
Moderate
Fresh
Strong
Gale
Whole gale
Hurricane
Windbag

There are several other titles, but these must be earned by hard work and/or bribes. These include:

Administrators - These people help maintain the technical side of the Board and, of course, attend to every whim of visitors.

Crew Members - Volunteer wonderful people who do their part to keep the community strong and active.

Moderators - More wonderful volunteers who hang around the Board frequently, keeping harmony and organization, sparking fascinating and reflective conversations, and helping everybody with questions and/or concerns.

This is a great post for the Illinois user group! I am asking Marty to repost his question there.

Thanks for including me in on your website. I would like to know of any plans for Central Illinois being included in on future Wind Generation projects. I have a great interest amongst my members and my contractors. This website is of great use. I will pass it on. I hope to stay involved in this Windustry because I think it can benefit all. Thanks and keep up the good work.
