In a 36-30 vote, the Minnestoa Senate passed a Renewable Electricity Standard on Thursday (5/11/06) that would require Minnesota to have 20% renewable electricity by 2020. Below are a couple news reports from the Star Tribune and WCCO:

WCCO: Senate Approves Bill To Produce Renewable Energy

How did your Senator vote?

To become law, the RES still needs to find support in the House and from Governor Pawlenty.
